Ed "Big Daddy" Roth was the creator of Rat Fink, a 50's and 60's hotrod icon and the antithesis of Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse. Ed was the builder of some of the most creative custom cars ever to get a coat of candy paint. He was a creative genius whose design and paint work had a profound influence on pop culture, hotrodders and car guys everywhere. Ed's rise to fame began in the 50's and peaked with the custom car boom of the early 60's. A growing interest in hotrod history in the early 90's brought him back to the fore, and he was more popular than ever. To say his life was interesting is an understatement.
